OUR HISTORY

JB Hire incorporated where Hydraulic Rock Breakers were utilised to service drainage, sewerage, roading and building sites due to ground conditions consisting of mainly volcanic rock.

JB Sales International was incorporated as import agents for trenchless technology equipment

The acronym JB is derived from Jack Balemi, one of the first members of the Australian Society of Trenchless Technologies (ASTT)., who introduced the first TT Grundomat into New Zealand after (Jack) bringing it back from Germany on carry-on baggage.

JB Pipeline Construction Company was started and secured major contracts linking natural gas pipelines to key population centres of New Zealand, such as Auckland.
